Volleyball: Police club beats Maziya in their first match of the national league

Both male and female clubs are competing in the league
 
Police Club won all three sets

Police Club has defeated Maziya Sports and Recreation in their first match of the National Volleyball League 2017, organized by the Volleyball Association and sponsored by Sea Life Global. 

Police Club defeated Maziya, in the match played at the Youth Center in capital city Malé, having won all three sets. 

The scores for these sets are: 26-24, 30-28, and 25-15. The match's best player proved to be Police Club's Indian player, Jagtar Singh. 

Other male clubs competing in the league are Maldivian Sports and Recreation, Sea Life Sports, and the military's Sifainge Club. 

Maldivian Sports and Recreation also has a women's team competing in the league, as does Police Club. Another female club competing in the league is the 'Miskiy-magu Emmenge Gulhun'.
