Three individuals have been arrested over allegations of vandalizing the office of main ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).
Media official at the Maldives Police Service (MPS) told RaajjeMV that the three suspects, all men, were arrested under a court order on Wednesday.
Arrested are a 36-year-old, a 24-year-old and a 21-year-old.
The glass window at MDP office was deliberately shattered by a group of individuals at around 4:50pm on Tuesday. The same day a group of individuals had created unrest infront of the Elections Commission.
Maldives held the Local Council and Women’s Development Committee elections on April 10, the results of which churned unrest within supports of different political parties.
