The main opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has formally expressed its gratitude to Fayyaz Ismail, recognizing his invaluable contributions during his tenure as Chairperson of the party.
In a press statement, MDP acknowledged the numerous and highly significant services provided by Fayyaz as Chairperson and extended sincere thanks on behalf of all party members.
The statement noted that Fayyaz played a crucial role in implementing the party's policies while serving as Minister of Economic Development in the second MDP government. Despite simultaneously holding the senior government position, he devoted considerable attention to party affairs and initiated numerous efforts to advance the party’s progress and development.
