The Volleyball Association of Maldives has announced that they are looking for individuals to coach young teams that have recently been founded.
The Association said in a statement on Thursday that the teams are part of its efforts to create local players with discipline and passion.
The VAM added that the coaches would be trusted with instilling players with enough skill and experience to compete internationally.
The coaches will be charged with training players for every match they are to play in 2017 and 2018.
Interested individuals can send in their applications to the Association by 11th May.
Only Maldivian citizens are eligible for the VAM positions, and they must possess ‘Level 1’ coaching certificates at the very least along with experience training young players.
The VAM is looking for a head and assistant coaches for a total of four teams.
The four teams are divided upon gender and age – with a male and female team for players under 16 and a male and female team for players under 19.
