Fatal accident in Kulhudhuffushi City kills 17-yo

A 17-year-old has succumbed to injuries attained in a fatal accident that occurred in the northern city of Kulhudhuffushi.
The minor died while receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital, at around 4:50am on Tuesday.
Two surgeries were performed on the 17-year-old after he was rushed to the hospital for treatment following the accident.
Doctors revealed that he was observed to be recovering steadily following the first operation. However, a second operation followed after his health abruptly deteriorated on Monday.
He succumbed while receiving intensive care, following the operation.
The accident occurred on March 12, when a pick-up truck and motorcycle collided.
