The body was taken to IGMH

A dead person has been found in a house in the congested capital, Malé City.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) on Saturday informed media that they received information about an unresponsive person in a house in Galolhu, Malé, at 5:02pm on Saturday.

The person found unresponsive has been identified as Ali Rasheed, 35.

The deceased lived at G. Fresh Light. However, the police have not yet disclosed whether he was found dead in the house or in another residence.

The police institution has stated that he was already deceased when taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Further investigations are currently underway in connection with the case.
