A teenager has died after falling from the thirteenth floor of a building.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that a 16-year-old Maldivian boy has fallen and died from the 13th floor of Hiyaa Tower five of Hulhumalé Phase II.

The police institution revealed that the incident occurred around 01:26am on Friday.

MPS said that the hospital had informed them that the child was already dead when he was brought to the hospital.

Further investigations are currently underway in connection with the case.
