A total of 5,700 people were administered doses of the Covid-19 vaccine between Sunday and Monday, with which the total number of those vaccinated against the infection in Maldives is now 117,115.
The latest vaccination update made public by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirms that a total of 5,700 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 across the Maldives on Monday. This includes 2,088 people vaccinated from the Male' area and 3,612 people vaccinated from atolls.
There are presently seven vaccination centers and two mobile vaccination teams active in Male' City, where vaccinations are open for ages 20 and above, high-risk groups between 18 and 20 years, and caretakers of elderly or chronically ill bedridden patients.
