Hulhumale' Development Corporation (HDC) has announced they have opened the opportunity to tour commercial units from the "Hiyaa" project in Hulhumale' Phase II.
HDC said that while they had opened up the call to tour units earlier, that registration could not be processed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
While they have announced for the public to submit proposals in relation to the commercial units for the "Hiyaa" project in Hulhumale' Phase II, HDC says they will be opening up the opportunity to visit and tour additional commercial units from the "Hiyaa" project later on.
Those interested in touring the commercial units have been asked to submit online registration forms before 12pm on 17 January, with HDC stressing that those who do not register for the tours will not be given a chance to tour the commercial units at a later date.
HDC has announced they will be sharing details of the tour for the commercial units being developed under the "Hiyaa" project in Hulhumale' Phase II soon.
A total of 240 hectares of land were reclaimed for Hulhumale' Phase II development by Former President Abdulla Yameen's administration, which then attempted to sell of several plots of land sized 1,000sqft for only MVR 400,000 ahead of the Presidential Elections in 2018.
Hulhumale' is a planned suburban district of the capital Male' City, and has been growing exponentially in size and real-estate value in recent years due to successful reclamation and housing projects, along with the joining of the island to Male' via the Sinamale' bridge.
