Tourism Ministry decrees that resorts can be run without permits

A resort in the Maldives
Tourism Ministry has decreed that administering resorts can be carried out without seeking permits from the Ministry.
The amendment brought to the laws states that resorts can be administered under management agreements without seeking permits. It states that the agreements can be registered with the Ministry, granted that it meets the stipulations.
The law will be in effect from the 3rd of this month.
Previously, the law mandated that permits must be sought.
