First place winner of the Maldives Wave giveaway
Maldives Wave, the country’s first-ever watch brand has celebrated the end of their grand Instagram give-away.
Brand Ambassador and Maldivian Idol, Shalabee Ibrahim presented the winners of the promotion with their prizes at a special ceremony held at Bodufenvalhuge in Galolhu-ward of the capital city on Tuesday night.
A disc version of the PlayStation 5, a 128-gb iPhone 12, brown leather strapped couples watch of the brand’s artistic Boduberu Series Royal Edition as well as a cash prize of MVR 7,000 were all handed over to the first-place winner.
Prizes offered under the give-away for the second place winner were a lovers package and a cash prize worth MVR 5,000.
The third-place winner was presented with a Velaa Series Presidential Blue watch and a cash prize of MVR 3,000.
Speaking at the ceremony, CEO of the brand, Mohamed Zaaji Ismail stated that the promotion was carried out in complete transparency and in all fairness, no one linked to the company including family members and employees were given a chance to participate.
As such, the ceremony observed the selection of winners through a website, which was being telecast live on the state channel, Television Maldives (TVM).
The promotion drew over 60,000 comments and garnered over 80,000 likes and was held in celebration of the brand’s first-year anniversary.
Maldives Wave flaunts Maldivian history through their artistic pieces and a wide variety of locally crafted statement pieces.
