MNDF advices sea travelers to be cautious

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) have advised sea travelers to be cautious of the weather.

MNDF advised all sea travelers to be cautious of the bad weather when traveling, via a twitter post.

According the Maldives Meteorological Service, seas are expected to be rough in southern and central atolls, moderate becoming rough during showers in northern atolls. Wave surges are also possible in southern atolls during high tides.

While fairly widespread rain with isolated thundershowers are expected over the country, occasional heavy showers are expected in northern and central atolls according to the Meteorological Center.
