A boat with four men carrying water from one island to another in Raa Atoll has capsized on Monday.

The boat was traveling from Madduvari island to Aa’rah, which is being developed as a resort. The incident was reported to the Police at 08:20 am.

A Police official said that rough sea conditions had upended the boat.

He added that a passing vessel had assisted the four men and none of them had been injured.

The Police and other vessels from the atoll are currently working to recover the boat.
