Aishath Rizna has been appointed as the chief judicial administrator at the Department of Judicial Administration (DJA).
RaajjeMV understands that Rizna has immense experience in the field, having previously filled posts at the Supreme Court, Civil Court as well as DJA.
Prior to her apppointment as chief judicial administrator, Rizna was the good governance country representative at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The five-year term comes with an annual salary of MVR 47,500. Requirements include degree in administrative or law studies, as well as 10 years experience in the field.
The DJA was transferred under the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) as per the new amendments made to the JSC legislation.
