A certificate of recognition as a ‘CISCO Instructor Training Center’ has been awarded to the Maldives National University (MNU)’s Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology.

MNU revealed that their faculty was recognized as a certified CISCO training center, earlier this month and that it is in effect since September.

The center trains teachers to conduct CISCO certified courses and professionals for computer networks. CISCO trains and conducts certificate programmes to prepare students, engineer and software developers for success in the most critical jobs of the industry.

Recognized as one of the world’s famous training centers in the field, the opportunity will pave way for more foreign students to join the university.

The university added that these trainings are important for all offices connected through computer networks.

All graduates from the faculty will be awarded with a certificate from CISCO as well as the certificate awarded by the MNU, with this designation.
