As such, the doctor said that a total of 60,000 kits will arrive on Saturday; 40,000 from China and 20,000 from the U.S.
Maldives has tested a total of 115,727 samples including repeated ones thus far, with 1,546 samples tested on Wednesday.
Further noting that there are 12,000 GeneXpert cartridges left, Nazla said that GeneXpert machines have been installed in regional Covid-19 treatment facilities.
