Aminath has a Master’s in Project Planning and Management from Bradford University, United Kingdom

Aminath Ummu Kulsoom has been appointed as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih made the appointment on Thursday and Aminath was presented her letter of appointment at a special ceremony held at the President's Office on Thursday afternoon.

The new appointee’s oath of office was administered by Supreme Court Justice Mahaz Ali Zahir.

Aminath previously held senior positions at the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services as well as the Ministry of Education.

Prior to her appointment as a member of JSC, Aminath served as the Deputy Director at the National Centre for the Arts, administrated under the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage.

Aminath has a Master’s in Project Planning and Management from Bradford University, United Kingdom.
