Maldives currently has 368 active Covid-19 cases.
17 new cases were reported on Thursday, bringing the country’s total case count to 2,137.
The new cases include seven locals, six Bangladeshis, three Indians and one Nepalese national.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed that a total of 1,759 patients have recovered from the virus thus far, which means that 82 new recoveries were confirmed on Thursday.
There have been eight Covid-19 related deaths in the country.
301 people are currently in isolation facilities while 215 are un quarantine facilities.
