Covid-19 testing

Total Covid-19 cases in the Maldives has reached 1,883 and over 700 patients have recovered.

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) announced 11 new cases on Friday. These include eight Maldivians and three Bangladeshi nationals.

An additional 69 patients have also recovered from the virus, pushing total recoveries to 717. There are currently 1,157 active cases in the country.

There have been seven Covid-19 related death thus far.
