Maldives Police Service (MPS) took action on 202 lockdown violations on Monday.
The authority's daily publication reveals that 197 individuals were fined and five were arrested on Monday.
Out of the 197 fines imposed, 196 were in Malé and one was in Hulhumalé.
A total of 6,769 individuals have been fined thus far, out of which 5,951 are from the capital city, 709 are from Hulhumalé and 109 are from Villimalé.
All five arrested on Monday for violating the lockdown are from Malé City.
This pushes the total number of individuals under police custody to 375. This includes 335 from Malé, 37 from Hulhumalé and three from Villimalé.
Further, 125 individuals currently remain in police custody out of the 375 arrested.
MPS had also sought charges against some of these violators, earlier.
Police officers continue to patrol the streets of the Greater Malé Region as the authorities are in the lockdown ease process.
