The council of Meedhoo island in Dhaalu atoll has publicized a temporary list of those who applied for the government’s plots of land on the island.
200 plots of land measures 1,400 square feet, each, are to be issued under the program.
The island council revealed that a number of individuals applied for the plots when the opportunity was opened on February 18 and that the applications have since been evaluated.
A list has since been compiled and publicized.
The temporary list compiles the individuals who applied, ranked by points.
Individuals have been urged to submit complaints regarding the list, before 11pm, June 15 through letters or e-mail, at [email protected].
