MIRA to assist small businesses prepare BPT return, financial statements for 2019
The assistance will be provided via phone, e-mail and other online means

The Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has initiated a special program to assist small businesses in preparing their Business Profit Tax (BPT) Return and Financial Statements for 2019.
In a statement on Sunday, the authority revealed that they will be providing assistance to small businesses to prepare their BPT Return as well as Financial Statements, through a special initiative to begin during June.
The assistance will be provided via phone, e-mail and other online means, said MIRA.
The authority has urged businesses that wish to acquire assistance in preparing BPT Return and Financial Statements to contact MIRA on Viber, through 9821415 or via e-mail, through1415@mira.gov.mvfor assistance.
Businesses that earn between MVR five to 10 ten million per year are eligible for the program.
