Six workers from IBM tested positive for Covid-19: Shah

Managing Director of the Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC), Hassan Shah has revealed that six workers from their subsidiary company, Island Beverages Maldives (IBM) had tested positive for Covid-19.
Speaking during an interview on RaajjeTV’s Covid-19 Coverage on Monday, Shah stated that a number of employees who came in close contact with the positive employees were taken into isolation.
Highlighting that their services were hindered due to this, Shah revealed that they had discussions with other companies that produce mineralized water and issued supplies that are sufficient to keep up the market.
Further, the company will begin producing mineralized pure drinking water in five liter bottles, from Monday onwards.
Shah noted that MWSC has provided additional employees to IBM, from their line of expert workers.
IBM has since increased their labor force in order to commence work.
