Maldives records 104 Covid-19 recoveries

With an additional 13 people recovering from Covid-19, Maldives total recoveries has reached 104.

This was announced at Thursday night’s press briefing at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC).

13 of the recoveries are the cases reported prior to the detection of a community transmission, from resorts.

Authorities have said that recovery rate is slower than anticipated, adding that it is taking an average of 17 days.

Maldives has seen a total of 1,216 Covid-19 cases thus far, and there have been four deaths.
