An additional five Covid-19 recoveries have been recorded in the Maldives.
While a total of 86 recoveries were reported at Tuesday night’s Covid-19 press conference, the Health Ministry’s Covid-19 Dashboard reads that 91 patients have recovered.
13 of the recoveries are the cases reported prior to the detection of a community transmission, from resorts.
Authorities have said that recovery rate is slower than anticipated, adding that it is taking an average of 17 days.
As per the Dashboard, the recovery rate is at 7.96 percent.
Maldives has seen a total of 1,143 Covid-19 cases thus far, and there have been four deaths.
