A total of 32 people has recovered from coronavirus thus far in Maldives.

While 31 recoveries were previously announced, Dr. Ibrahim Afzal at Tuesday night’s Covid-19 press conference announced that an additional patient has recovered from the virus.

He added that this is Case 52.

Case 52 is a 27-year-old Maldivian man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on April 19. He belongs to the ‘UGM’ cluster, according to the Health Ministry’s Covid-19 Dashboard.

While the country has announced 904 coronavirus cases thus far, there have also been three fatalities and four are currently receiving ventilation following complications.
