22 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) have emerged in the Maldives.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) made the reveal on Saturday afternoon, via Twitter.
As such, the authority revealed that among the new cases are four Bangladeshi nationals, 16 Maldivians, one Indian and one Nepali.
This pushes the total of Covid-19 cases in the country to 766 since the community transmission was confirmed in the Maldives capital, Malé City on April 15.
Maldives has seen three fatalities in connection to the infection and 20 recoveries. Several are hospitalized currently as well.
