A Bangladeshi national who has tested positive for Covid-19 is in critical condition.

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that the individual was transferred to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) after suffering “a tonic-clonic seizure”.

No further details have been disclosed.

While authorities have revealed that the individual was transferred to IGMH, six other Covid-19 patients are currently hospitalized.

Out of the six, an 88-year-old was placed on a ventilator on Sunday following complications.

The five others currently admitted at DH11 at Dharumavantha include four men and one woman.

Two of them, an 80-year-old man and 70-year-old man, are being given oxygen support.

The remaining patients currently hospitalized are a 48-year-old man and 58-year-old woman, with the doctor stressing that they are “stable”
