The Fuvahmulah City Council has urged those who wish to acquire cargo services via the flights arranged between the city and Maldives capital, Malé City, to forward their names.
The council released a circular late Sunday night, which reads that the country’s national airline, Maldivian has arranged a cargo flight between the two cities once a week.
Those who wish to acquire cargo services are required to submit their names to the council, and the opportunity will be given in the order names are submitted in.
However, those who wish to send or bring in safety equipment and essential supplies will be given priority.
Those who wish to acquire these services are urged to contact the council through 6865001 between 10am and 05:30pm as well as 7pm and 12am to list their names.
