BHM Traders is a popular wholesaler, retailer and distributor in Maldives
One of the renowned distributors in the trading sector, BHM Traders has shut down all of its outlets and temporarily halted its services.
The announcement was made via a statement by the company late Monday.
The decision was made following an order by authorities, after one of their employees testing positive for Covid-19.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) notified the company that one of its staff who worked at one of its outlets has tested positive to the infection.
Since then, all of its staff have been isolated at home.
Apologizing to customers for any inconveniences that this may cause, BHM revealed that they are ready to commence services once again after the relevant authorities give them the green light.
Authorities earlier revealed that patient 53 was active in the company’s delivery service.
Some workers from Ihsaan shop and Lily Enterprises have also tested positive to the disease.
