A Maldivian national has tested positive for Covid-19 in Malaysia and is in stable condition, confirms the Maldives' High Commission in the South-East Asian nation.
Malaysia's Ministry of Health announced - via Twitter on Thursday- that a total of 416 foreign nationals tested positive for Covid-19, including one Maldivian national.
The High Commission has verified this information with Malaysian authorities and reported that the individual is in stable condition.
While Malaysia has reported over 4200 confirmed cases, 67 have died. The Southeast Asian nation has imposed a movement control order to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the country. The restriction has been extended until the 18th April.
