Procurement policy board established, members appointed
According to the Ministry of Finance, all procurement related systems have been strengthened and procurement-related policies have been prepared.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has established and appointed members to the Procurement Policy board.
According to the Ministry of Finance, all procurement related systems have been strengthened and procurement-related policies have been prepared. Further, they announced that the President will officially establish a Procurement Policy board on 23rd February 2020 and appoint members to the board.
While the board comprises of seven members, Minister of Finance Ibrahim Ameer has been appointed the chairperson of the board. Other members include Ahmed Shareef, Ajwadh Musthafa, Ibrahim Naeem, Dr Ibrahim Mohamed Adil, Shifaz Ali and Shuhadh Ibrahim.
Procurement related systems will be fortified under the newly established board.
