Malé Hospitals Governing Board has been renamed to “Malé Hospitals Board of Trustees”, with the reconstitution of directors.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih made the changes on Sunday.

While this board is tasked with the management of Malé Hospitals Group, this group comprises of Dharumavantha Hospital, Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Hulhumale’ Hospital and Villimale’ Hospital.

The board of directors of Male’ Hospitals Group was renamed and reconstituted by the President on January 30.

While the reconstituted board comprises of nine members, Dr. Abdul Azeez Yoosuf has been named chairman while Aneesa Ahmed -a recipient of the Order of Distinguished Rule of Izzuddin- is the vice chairman.

Other on the board are Dr. Farzana Firdous, Dr. Ismail Shafeeu. Hamid Sadiq, Abdul Majid, Athifa Ibrahim, Ibrahim Saleem and Mariya Saeed.
