A Bangladeshi national has attained injuries after falling from the seventh floor of a building under construction in capital city Malé.
Media official at the Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they received the report of the accident close to 02:30pm on Monday.
It has been confirmed that the man injured in the accident is a Bangladeshi national.
The man fell after the rope suspending him from a bosun’s chair while at work, cut loose. He evidently fell onto the sheet of the first floor.
Police revealed that he attained several bruises and scraped after the fall and even cut his tongue.
The man has since been treated at ADK Hospital for his injuries.
Police have since launched further investigations into the accident.
