Three foreigners were attacked in the capital’s suburban district Hulhumalé on Tuesday.

Police said that the stabbing, which took place near the Redbull stadium, was reported at around 8:10pm.

Attacked were three foreigners- two Chinese and one Australian, all men.

Noting that members of the public helped take the victims to the hospital, police said that none of them had sustained serious injuries.

The attackers were traveling on motorcycles and had helmets on.

The police are investigating the attack.
