Maldives Police Service (MPS) has arrested an individual in possession of alcohol.
The reveal was made via Twitter on Friday, where police posted a picture of the confiscated bottle of alcohol.
The man evidently dodged the red light on the Sinamalé Bridge following which traffic police stopped him and searched his motorcycle.
Upon searching, officers found a bottle of alcohol on the man, who was not licensed to operate vehicles.
While the man has been taken into police custody, MPS has since launched further investigations into the matter.
