Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) has located the two locals who went missing after going lobster catching in Vaikaramuraidhoo in Haa Dhaalu atoll.

MNDF officials received the report of two missing individuals at 11:45am on Saturday.

Speaking to media on Saturday, MNDF revealed that a team of divers from their Northern Area Coastguard had begun a search for the two Maldivians close to 2pm on after receiving a report of them going missing off the southern side of the uninhabited island, close to Vaikaradhoo island.

They were both found on the reef, in good condition, revealed MNDF.
