Council re-opens opportunity to submit proposals for night market slots

Qualifications include two years since registration

The businesses require to be 100 percent local

Proposals will be accepted on 12 December

Malé City Council has re-opened opportunities for interested individuals to propose their bids for slots in the annual school holidays night market.

The council via a statement on Thursday, revealed that they received only two proposals the first-time round, when they opened the opportunity for interested individuals to forward their proposals in November.

Interested individuals are to submit proposals before 1pm on 12 December, a Thursday.

Further, the council notes qualifications for submissions. As such, businesses interesting in running stalls at the night market require to be running for two years since registration at the Ministry of Economic Development, and a 100 percent Maldivian business.
