An expatriate has gotten injured after falling from 7th floor of a building in Male' city.

Authorities received reports of the accident on Saturday around 15:33pm.

The expatriate who fell off the 7th floor while trying to lower a machine elevator shaft suffered serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at IGM hospital, says authorities.

The case is undergoing further investigation.
