Saudi Arabia removes repeaters fee for Maldivian Umrah pilgrims

The press release further states that pilgrims need only pay a fee of 300 rials (MVR1236) but additional fees may be incurred for pilgrims who apply through sub-agents

The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia has announced changes to visa fee payments for Maldivians undertaking the Umrah pilgrimage.

According to a press release by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, the inter-related institutes of Saudi Arabia has arranged for the removal of "repeaters fee" of 2000 rials (MVR 8242).

The press release further states that pilgrims need only pay a fee of 300 rials (MVR1236) but additional fees may be incurred for pilgrims who apply through sub-agents instead.

The embassy stresses that these fees are not charged under any policies by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
