The Minister of Arts Culture and Heritage, Yumna Maumoon has met with Seychelles Designated Minister and Minister of Youth, Sports, and Culture, Macsuzy Mondon on Friday.

Minister Yumna is currently in Seychelles to attend the 34th edition of the Festival Kreol (Creole Festival).

Discussions during the meeting touched on joint efforts between both countries to develop the field of arts, culture, and heritage.

Senior ministry officials were also in attendance during Friday's meeting.

The minister also attended the opening ceremony of the Festival Kreol on Friday, where Maldivian cultural troupe Bidhabin performed.

The ministry noted that the group received high praise from the audience.

The festival will continue till October 31.
