Every island in the Maldives will be connected through the “Vinavi Portal” by October 20, says Aasandha’s Assistant Managing Director Ibrahim Rasheed.
While speaking on RaajjeTV’s “Fala Surukhee” programme on Tuesday, Rasheed stated that work on establishing “Vinavi Portal” in every island in the Maldives is ongoing and that work on the final atoll, Laamu atoll, will be completed by October 20.
Further noting that every clinic and hospital have joined the portal except for Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, ADK Hospital and Hulhumale' Hospital, Rasheed stated that they will also be joining shortly.
As such, ADK Hospital is to join the portal within two days, while Hulhumale’ Hospital is to join by next Friday and IGMH by the end of November.
This is an initiative taken under new government policy to connect all health institutions of the country through one network. Likewise “Vinavi” is a tool meant to achieve the objectives of the “Husnuvaa Aasandha” scheme.
According to Aasandha, this portal will track patient information from the memo issuing process until the end of treatment.
