Fire breaks out at 'Roalhi Cafe'

The fire broke out at a cafe' on Maaveyo magu known as "Roalhi Cafe'".

A fire hbroke out at a cafe' on Maaveyo magu known as "Roalhi Cafe'" on Tuesday.

According to Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF), the fire started when a gas cannister caught fire and subsequently torched the rest of the kitchen.

MNDF's fire and rescue team were dispatched immediately after the incident was reported around 09:53 am, who promptly put out the fire.

MNDF's fire and rescue team are still active in the area where the fire broke out.
