President enquires on needs and concerns of the people of Bodufolhudhoo island
 
President Solih met with island's councillors on Sunday afternoon

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has enquired on the needs and concerns of the people of Bodufolhudhoo island in Alif Alif atoll, during a meeting with its councillors.

The meeting was held at the President’s Office on Sunday afternoon.

At the meeting, the president enquired about the needs and concerns of the people, as well as the ongoing and future development plans for the island.

The Bodufolhudhoo councillors detailed several of the concerns and issues faced by its residents,.

As such, they discussed on avenues for expediting the establishment of water and sanitation services in the island, progress of work on the land reclamation project, repair of the harbour quay wall as well as improvements to the health sector of the island.

Taking note of their concerns, President Solih told them that he would work with the relevant line ministries to find solutions to these issues.
