Maldives Customs has seized 4kg of drugs from a 36-year-old Bangladeshi national.
Customs stated that the man was searched upon arrival at the airport due to suspicious behavior.
The drugs were found in his luggage and tested positive for cannabis, stated Customs, adding that the 3.69kg of cannabis is worth MVR 2,948,000.
Customs has transferred the man and his drugs to the police service.
Customs has seized a total of 28.49kg of drugs so far this year.
