The President’s National Award for Special Achievement will be accorded in three categories this year

The National Awards Council has announced that the deadline to submit nominations for the President’s National Award for Special Achievement is set to expire on September 15, 2pm.

The President’s National Award for Special Achievement will be accorded in three categories this year.

The first category will see awards conferred to individuals who have performed exceptionally well in the field of higher education and training; achievements in acquiring certification equivalent to Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA) ranking levels 7, 8, 9 and 10.

The second category will see awards given out to individuals who have excelled at or achieved the highest rank in an international competition or exhibition. The third category will see awards conferred to individuals who, through innovation and research, have found solutions to pertinent issues facing the country.

Nominations for the President’s National Award for Special Achievement can be submitted via a special form addressed to the National Awards Council. Application forms are available at the President’s Office during official working hours or can be downloaded fromPresidency Maldives.

The President’s National Award for Special Achievement will be presented this year at the ceremony held on National Day.
