Constance Moofushi Maldives
The tourist couple reported missing on Tuesday have returned to Constance Moofushi resort.
The German couple were reported missing at 11:19am on Tuesday after they failed to return from a snorkeling trip to the uninhabited part of Moofushi.
The Coast Guard began a search in the area with a diving team immediately after the report.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) stated that the resort management has confirmed that the couple have returned to the resort and are in good health.
There has been an increase of incidents at sea due to the worsening weather in the Maldives.
