VIA asks passengers to check-in three hours before departure

Those traveling via Velana International Airport (VIA) have been advised to check-in three hours prior to departure.
Maldives main airport announced this via Twitter on Saturday, noting that it is “experiencing a busy travel period” during Eid al-Adha holidays.
In addition, Maldives Immigration has urged all to ensure that the travel documents are valid before traveling. It also urged all to keep their passports and other travel documents are safe while traveling.
A number of people are traveling to various parts of the country, as well as abroad, during the nine-day Eid holidays.
