Bushainath Moosa, daughter of former deputy Speaker Moosa “Reeko” Manik, has been appointed to a political post at the Maldives embassy at the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
RaajjeMV understands that she was appointed as the second secretary at the embassy.
While she is to have been appointed “very recently,” it is not clear whether she has started reporting for duty.
Bushainath is the director of Heavy Load Pvt Ltd, which is a family business for former MP Manik.
Political appointees are made directly by the president.
