The rat at the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) laboratory has been killed.
The IGMH media official confirmed to RaajjeMV that the rat that snuck in to their laboratory has been killed.
The media official said that no other rat has been discovered.
It is likely that the rat had entered the laboratory after eating part of the ceiling. The media official has said that the hole has been patched.
A video was shared on social media on Wednesday morning showing the rat running around the laboratory and its public service counter.
